Upper Kittitas County Youth Baseball and Softball Association
Sport Parent Code of Conduct
The Upper Kittitas County Youth Baseball and Softball Association (UKCYBSA) has implemented the following Sport Parent Code of Conduct to emphasize the vital role parents play in supporting their child in sports. This code helps foster a positive and respectful environment for all players, coaches, officials, and families involved in our league.
All parents are required to read, understand, and sign this form prior to their child participating in any league activity. https://forms.gle/htQrTpu8cx1u7YGb6
Any parent found engaging in improper conduct during games or practices will be asked to leave the facility and will be suspended from attending the following game. Repeated violations may result in further suspensions or the forfeiture of the privilege to attend future games for the remainder of the season.
The foundation of character-building in youth sports lies in the principles of sportsmanship and ethics, embodied in the Six Pillars of Character:
-
Trustworthiness
-
Respect
-
Responsibility
-
Fairness
-
Caring
-
Good Citizenship
The true value of sports is achieved when competition reflects these core values.
