Axe Bat Recommendations 

T-Ball

2023 Axe Avenge Pro Tee Ball USABAT (-11) Baseball – Axe Team Store or 2023 Hero USABAT Tee Ball (-11) 2-1/4 – Axe Team Store (currently priced at $40) This bat comes in sizes of 24”, 25” and 26”. The main factor would be the height of your player. I would suggest the 25” or 26” for most players. If the 26” bat seems too small, a T-Ball player could use 2023 Hero USABAT Hyperspeed (-12) Baseball Bat – Axe Team Store (currently $80). These bats come in 26-30” and the benefit with this bat is they would be a good fit for Rookies as well.

Rookies

For Rookies (machine/coach pitch) I would look at 2023 Hero USABAT Hyperspeed (-12) Baseball Bat – Axe Team Store or 2023 Hero Hyperspeed (-11) USABAT Baseball – Axe Team Store. The only difference between these two are a one ounce difference in weight. A stronger player might do better with the -11 whereas players needing a lighter bat would benefit from the -12. If your player is in their second year of Rookies or finds the -11 too light or you are looking for a bat that they can use in both Rookies and Minors (player pitch) the 2023 Strato USABAT (-10) 2-5/8" Baseball – Axe Team Store (currently $120) would be a great option. This bat will have a bigger barrel and might be more difficult to control for a smaller, younger player than the Hero models.

Minors/Majors

For player pitch I recommend 2023 Strato USABAT (-10) 2-5/8" Baseball – Axe Team Store. There is a higher end model 2023 Avenge Pro Hybrid USA (-10) 2-5/8" Baseball Bat – Axe Team Store (currently $240). While this bat is obviously the top of the line product, the noticeable gains at this level are most likely not worth that investment. While I will not discourage anyone from purchasing this bat, any player will be well served with the Strato model (full disclosure, the Strato is what I purchased for my two sons.)

Softball

The specifications for softball are a little easier to navigate as all the bats have the correct marking. Any of the bats listed here fastpitch-bats – Axe Team Store will be eligible to use in our league. Again, these are all excellent bats, you would just need to find a bat the correct length for your player and is in a comfortable price point.
